SSF Hub is organised as a resource and collaboration space for small-scale fisheries. Its structure brings tools, stories and community connections into one place rather than treating small-scale fisheries as a single geography or institution.

The current platform offers a resource library, stories from fishers and initiatives, a global community group and a route to suggest resources. It also documents the 2024 SSF Summit, where nearly 300 stakeholders marked ten years of the FAO SSF Guidelines and considered future action.

The Hub’s current stories include work on national plans of action and fisherfolk advocacy. Its forward value lies in following implementation country by country rather than presenting one global summary as a local answer.
