World Crafts Council Member Network
A regional and national member network supporting crafts and makers.
Explore the World Crafts Council ↗The short story
More than
a name.
A search for a maker often begins too far downstream, on a marketplace or product page. The World Crafts Council network offers a different route: start with regional and national craft bodies, then move toward local institutions and practitioners. It is a map of possible connections, not a guarantee about any individual shop, maker or transaction.
Why it is here
A useful starting point,
not a verdict.
Member bodies can lead visitors toward local institutions while every shop and transaction still requires independent checking.
This listing is informational. It is not an endorsement, certification, ranking or guarantee. Independently confirm identity, credentials, licences, safety information, price, availability, terms and current operating status before acting.

More than sixty years of craft advocacy
The World Crafts Council describes more than sixty years of craft advocacy and cultural leadership. Its international structure works through five geographic regions.
Programmes, regions and craft cities
The current platform lists regional networks, membership, an Award of Excellence, World Craft Cities, a Seal of Craft Authenticity, a World Crafts Forum, events and publications.
The city network is actively inviting participation
WCC presents its World Craft Cities programme as a growing network intended to highlight each city’s assets in a specific craft field and currently provides an application route.
Start at the institutional layer
A visitor can explore regional bodies, member routes, craft cities and programmes before moving toward an individual maker. The network is a connection point, not verification of every seller encountered downstream.
